Mario Escobar, the father of Debanhi Susana Escobar Bazaldúa, made it veritably clear that the exhumation of his daughter’s remains is out of the ordinary. While he understands the uncommon, unusual event, he believes that this is a step forward to protect women from this unchanging femicide.

In Nuevo Leon, this is unheard of. This practice is inconceivable. Still, given that it seems the Mexican people have no fidelity to their countrymen. The bringing in of a Guatemalan professional will hopefully give us a significant update. Still, numerous voices have spoken and believe that Debanhi has been through enough.

It’s not like the killers are going to be caught. This will not bring her back to life. Debanhi’s remains should be left to rest. As of July 1st, 2022, which is three to four months since her passing; the forensic services to the pantheon of the megacity of Galeana have disinterred her remains. Don Mario hopes that a third necropsy will exfoliate light on the riddle of her death.
